Sympathy pains

Ansel had his two month check up and immunizations today. I think he took it better than I did. He cried when the shots went in and was fine once I picked him up. I, on the other hand, was on the verge of tears throughout the appointment. They recommend so many shots now. I did my reading but still found it overwhelming. He had a slight fever this afternoon and was a little crabby but tylenol helped and he is eating and sleeping normally. He threw up all over me but that is normal, too. He does that about once a week. Poor pookie. It is amazing what we get used to as a mom and what doesn't phase us after a while. Anyone else's puke and I'd be out of there.

awww, while I haven't done any vaccines with the kids, i do remember when athena got a shot of antibiotics, and the look of horror on her face. while she recovered quickly, i felt guilty for awhile. I'm not sure what your shot schedule looks like, but you can always delay/or alter it to your specifications. The docs don't usually agree, but hey, they have their own kids! Give ansel a big hug and kiss from us! He is lucky to have such a good mom!
