Ansel is quite the talker these days. Oooo, ooh, auhauh, arghhh. Don't always know what it means. Definite cooing happening. He enjoyed some time in his gym the other day. He seemed to be engaging with the toys (a mirror and a musical thing). When I play the music toy he stops and listens. I read him three books while he was on his tummy. He can't lift his head very high yet so he gets bored on his tummy. The books helped.
We had a sleeping break through last night. Ansel has been sleeping next to me in bed but he is beginning to role over (on purpose or not, I don't know) and I want him to be able to sleep in the co-sleeper next to our bed for safety reasons. However, in the past the longest I've gotten him to stay in there asleep was 1 hour. Last night I swaddled him and got 3 hours! Of course I didn't sleep well because it was the first time in 2 months that he wasn't right next to me while sleeping.
