We have been teaching Ansel signs for six months now but his signing comprehension and use has really taken off in the past month. He knows and uses 9 signs. I believe they have helped to make him less frustrated because he can communicate with us more effectively. For example, after being away for 2 weeks and getting out of our home routine, he signed "bath" after breakfast. I was able to tell him no that bath is only after dinner at night time. He also has a few spoken words but they are less clear and sometimes "dada" means many things. His favorite sign is "more." He seems to use it to mean "like" as well as more. We taught him the sign in relation to food but he has transferred it to activities. He'll sign "more" after a round of piggy back to ask for more fun.

what a little ham! He has changed a lot since June for sure. It is so cool to hear his voice developing. I love it!
