On Saturday the moms and the kids went to Kids Day at a farm (friends of the Fines) in Napa . The kids played in the river, petted the rabbit, baa'ed at the sheep, made art at the art table, and launched foam rockets. The men enjoyed a mountain bike day. We all met up in Calistoga after dinner at the Calistoga Village Inn and Spa.
On Sunday, after breakfast in town we took the kids to a local playground and then back to the Inn for a swim. The Inn had three pools fed by natural springs: a hot tub, a warm pool and a cooler pool.

The adults had a relaxing time as well.
Ansel enjoyed the weekend. He didn't get enough sleep due to the busy schedule but was in good spirits.
This evening he was "reading" a book and on the page that reads, "one two three" he said "do, da ,dee" (his versions of counting). He continued to "read" the rest of the book and then said "the end" after the last page. I thought it was adorable - perhaps the general public needs a video.
