body parts
I thought that after my baby was born, besides the weight, my body would go back to normal. Pshaw! First of all, while pregnant I barely lost any hair when I'd comb it. Now I get handfuls of hair every time I wash it, comb it, touch it. I find hair everywhere. And never the gray ones! They stay in. Next my hips are creaky and achy. Every time I stand up I sound like an old hag grunting and groaning. My elbows and wrists have been hurting from all the heavy (our son) lifting. My boobs have stretch marks and bright, blue veins running through them. And then there is what I lovingly refer to as the sack of potatoes. Maybe cooked potatoes because it is mushy, soft. That would be my stomach. It doesn't help that the linea negra (brown line) still runs from my incision scar to about 3 inches above my navel. When does all this go away?? Yoga and running would help me feel better about some of these issues but it is hard to find the time and a babysitter on a regular basis.

Ha, it gets worse the second time around, but totally worth it! My hair stopped falling out a few weeks ago, so you can look forward to that. Now I have all these little baby hairs growing around my face where I went bald.
you should check out a site my friend started called http://theshapeofamother.com/
That is awesome. I totally want to post on their site. I'll get J to take some pics!
Any plans to come up. We'll be away the last weekend in Oct by the way.
no plans, we got an opportunity to vacation in Mexico and couldn't turn it down! (late oct.) I will start saving for my bay area trip though!
welcome to motherhood. however, even if all your hair falls out it will never be as short and gray as mine! so you are stoked!
