Family Day on the Coast

As a belated birthday request from me, we had a family day at the Monterey Bay Aquarium last weekend. We all had a great day. Ansel loved seeing all the different sea animals, especially the sharks. I bought him a rubber shark toy and he named it Sonny and wants it in the bath, in bed, outside. Very cute and Jeremy is glad Ansel is interested in something besides trucks! After the aquarium we drove up route 1 (which, although beautiful, was slow and trafficky) to Pacifica and had an hour at the beach where Jeremy had a long awaited surf, Ansel and I dipped our toes in the water and Ansel dug in the sand. It was a long day but fun.
