Me: "No, why do you want me to go away?" Ansel: "I want to do something naughty." Me: "What are you going to do?" Ansel:"I want to throw my milk." !!???? Look what I am up against!
He also asks, about 50 times a day, "What ____ doos (does)?" This evening it was "What a watermelon doos?"
He asks to hold Amalia by himself at least once a day. He is getting very good at it. She always gets a goodnight kiss from him, too.
He is super picky about food and won't try new things unless of course it has the words cookie, cake or cracker attached to it.
We're still working on the potty training as well.
Amalia is smiling more and really looking about. She will be awake in the car more without fussing. She likes the bath now that I have figured out how not to make it cold. She sleeps 3-4 hours at night and we are getting into a routine. Her hair is soooo soft and she still loves to nuzzle into my neck. She is such a cuddle bum.
I took the kids up to Lake Temescal, our favorite local swim hole up the hill. It was quiet and warm up there and Ansel had fun. We have had a few play dates and went to our local library's story time.
Tomorrow is my big boy's third birthday. I cannot believe how times has flown by. He is such a great kid and big brother. He has learned so much in three years and is a beautiful boy.

Thanks for posting such adorable pictures of your kids. Amalia looks sooooo cute and Ansel is as cute as ever. She looks so much darker than Ansel (just like my boy and girl), although I know sometimes that changes. Hope you enjoyed your birth(ing) day celebration.
