Brother and sister
This is how Ansel helped me pack. He was looking at his "plans" (he is very into construction these days). Then he closed the box and said it was his fort.
We have now moved into our new home. We'll get our new info out as soon as we can. We are surrounded by unpacked boxes but happy to be here. Ansel loves the back yard and I love being able to send him out there to play or going out with him.
Things are going well. I try to go out with the kids each day. We went to the indoor play space Habitot in Berkeley this week on a rainy day. Ansel had a blast.
Amalia has been looking around more and focusing on people and things. She smiles sometimes and I think the smiles are becoming more purposeful.
Ansel calls her Malia. He likes to hold her and is generally sweet to her. Sometimes he asks me if I can put her down to help him. I feel bad when he says that.
I put on a juggling act at least once a day, usually during nap/bedtimes or meals. When they both need help I find myself going back and forth between the two and loosing my mind.
Mother's Day was nice. Some of my plans were derailed by the unexpected rain. However, we did go for a hike in the afternoon after the weather cleared. Ansel had fun seeing banana slugs, climbing rocks and logs and picking up sticks.

So great! Congrats on the big move -- AND juggling so much at once! What a gorgeous family!
Happy Birthday Diana!
That Bro/Sis photo is wonderful. Amalia is saying something...not sure what. Beautiful family!!
