Week 1 as 4

Amalia is doing well, gaining weight and letting us sleep 2-3 hours at a time. She loves to nuzzle into my neck or sleep on anyone's chest. She makes the most lovely sounds- grunts, sighs and gurgles. She gets the hiccups a ton. Best of all are the sleep grins.
After coming home from the hospital she received visits from a nurse who tested her bilirubin levels until they began to come down. She has lost most of the jaundice color now and has gained back all but 2 oz of the weight she'd lost after birth.
