Mother's Day

I had a lovely Mother's Day today. We had pancakes for breakfast which I made because I make them the best. Then Jeremy, Ansel and I went to the park and the farmer's market. A normal Sunday but I wanted to spend time with my family.
After lunch and nap time, the three of us headed up to Tilden park in Berkeley and hiked/walked along the trail from Inspiration Point. Then we had a picnic near the car. J had made delicious calzones and I made a fruit salad. It was a yummy dinner. We headed home for bathtime and bedtime. Ansel loves the book Cars and Trucks and Things That Go by Richard Scary. It is a long book and he likes it read numerous times a day. So we read it tonight...again.

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a mom and have learned so much in the last two years. Ansel is such a great kid and I love him more each day.

Our little monkey!

Ansel got a ride in dada's backpack.

A great hiker!

A picture of me to prove I do exist. Stealing a kiss at the end of the hike.
