Jeremy, Ansel and I flew to Oregon for a long weekend to see family last weekend. We had a nice time seeing everyone. We celebrated my dad's 75th birthday while there (my parents came up too). It was cold. When we woke up Saturday it was snowing, then it rained and hailed. It was Ansel's first snow. Ansel and I were alone part of the day Saturday so we went to a kids' science museum where he could touch stuff. Jeremy and my cousin David went mountain biking in the snow (crazy!)
Ansel did very well on the 1 1/2 hour flights and 2 hour car rides. We timed the travels well with his naps and meals to make time pass quicker. Ansel also did well with his first stay in a hotel. He slept just like he did at home. It helped that we had a suite so we had him in the second room.
