11 months old today

Ansel is 11 months old today. We had a fun day which started out with a trip to the farmers market and a stop at a garage sale where we purchased three sturdy kitchen chairs. Then after nap time, Jeremy took Ansel out for a bike ride in the bike trailer.




When Ansel was 6 weeks old I started attending a mom's support group. We still meet weekly and babies range in age from 10 1/2 months to 13 1/2 months. We split the difference (in age) and had a joint one year birthday party today. Ansel had fun swinging, chasing (and popping) a balloon, pushing a cart and eating his first cupcake (yes, I gave in to the sugar).








Ansel had a "first" last night. He slept through the night for the first time. Normally he wakes up once which is okay but we have been hoping that he'd sleep through the night on his own without any sleep training from us. We were being lazy. Finally he came through after a week of bad sleep resulting from late nights early in the week.
