I can't keep up with him.

In case I have not mentioned it before, Jeremy takes the computer to work. This means that I do not have access to the computer until after dinner, around 8 pm , by which time I am mentally spent and physically exhausted. However, I crave blogging. I go about my day thinking in my head what I want to blog about. Today I have progress report, IEP reports, and other work and non work related things I should be working on. However, I told myself that if I worked until 9:30 I could reward my self with some blogging.
Ansel has taken off and I can't keep up. Last Thursday he started to crawl. He took a 2 1/2 hour nap, woke up, and knew how to crawl. That is like me going to bed tonight, getting a full 8 hours uninterrupted (Haha!), waking up and being able to juggle. So cool. His tooth is poking through his gum line now. Then he starting eating finger foods. We have been giving him rice puffs. He would eat them when fed them by me or Jeremy and he would pick them up only to have them fall to the ground. Now he will grab a handful and thrust them into his mouth. Some make it in and the other hand follows to push any in that are stuck on his lip. He has also tried cooked carrot pieces, dried mango and pieces of crackers (a special treat full of sugar, salt and oil - his favorite). Then today, I put him down for a nap and he pulled himself up to standing in the crib! Just like that! What is he going to do next?
By the way, for those of you who are enjoying the extra light with daylight savings, you must not have kids. It sucks. Not only is it dark when I wake up in the morning now but Ansel's naps are totally off.
I have video to put up of Ansel crawling but have not had time. Jeremy has been at frisbee tournaments the past two weekends and I had to get a babysitter just to get some school work finished. However, until then here are some cute pictures.

That's Cheating!

Wow, it is amazing how fast a lot of them go from crawling to standing. Rowan cruised like that for 3 months or so before his first steps while other will do it all in just a few weeks.
Ansel looks so grown up in those photos, the hair helps. I can't believe we'll both have 1 year olds soon (sooner for me as in 2 more days!)
