Sunday in the Park

Ansel has begun to point. He seems to point to things he likes - the tree moving in the wind, cars moving fast on the freeway.
He gives more hugs now, especially when he just gets up and is still tired. It is really sweet.
I have been feeling very crafty lately and went to the fabric store to get some materials. I have been wanting to sew a stuffed animal. Here is my first attempt. It is a bunny. The blue bunny is what I modeled mine after. I wouldn't say they are brothers but maybe distant cousins. I am going to keep working on it. The recipient liked it so that is all that really matters.

This morning we met up with some friends in the Koret Children's Playground in Golden Gate Park in SF. It has recently been remodeled and was awesome. Beautiful design. The couple we met each have one child and another on the way. Ansel played in the sand and had a taste, played in the grass and swung on the swings. It was very fun.

Sharing a swing with Bernadette.

Ouch! Ansel likes to pull hair.

Bernadette gives Ansel some sand.

Ansel politely accepts the sand and tastes it.

Mmmmm, crunchy sand.

Ansel loves dogs. This is Lola, a very child friendly dog. Ansel was in heaven.
