We gave Ansel some rice cereal mixed with breat milk today. He opened his mouth well and seemed to want the food in his mouth.
He seemed a little unsure of what to do with it once in his mouth. I think a little went down his throat into his tummy but most of it was pushed out of his mouth or just sat in his mouth. Overall he did pretty well for his first time.

Those are great pictures. Rowan is just starting to get into the solids. He likes pears best I think, it is hard to tell. Actually what he likes best is to grab at what we are eating but I've been pretty strict keeping to a "schedule". Don't want any issues with allergies!
I have to admit, it is pretty fun feeding him, Athena had nothing to do with baby food so this is new for me. I keep wondering how much to feed him!
