Ansel and Amalia had a joint birthday party in early May. The date overlapped with a visit from Grandma Liz. I decided on a farm theme but kept it subtle. Amalia was overwhelmed most of the day, not really sure what was happening, I think. It was chilly in the morning until the sun came out as it always seems to be when we try to have an outdoor party.
