Great Grandpa Abraham Plotkin

This past Sunday, September 12, great grandpa passed away. We were fortunate to have just visited with him in August, less than a month ago. He wanted to meet Amalia and requested a visit to which we of course obliged. We had a lovely time with him, hearing stories of Mondale's influence on the no right turn on red policy in MA.
I have only known him for the past 8 years but am glad to have had the opportunity to get to know him a little. So many of my friends ask about him regularly having only met him briefly. He made such an impact on them at Jeremy and my wedding. Grandpa was a fascinating and intelligent man, a kind and gentle soul. He was tremendously loved by his family. I feel blessed that my children got to meet him. Here is a compilation of the pictures I have in iphoto.
