I am on spring break this week. Hallelujah! Ansel and I have been busy.
On Sunday we celebrated Grandma and Granddad's 40th wedding anniversary with a lovely dinner at Scott's restaurant. Ansel was very well behaved at the restaurant. He dressed up in his Hawaiian shirt.
Monday we played at Linda Ave park and then lunch with brother Ken. Tuesday we went to Studio Grow in Berkeley with Paulette. It was fun but crowded. Then off to SF to meet Jeff for dinner. Jeff makes Ansel laugh a lot.
Mom, Dad and I took Ansel to SF today to the Conservatory in Golden Gate Park. They had a special exhibit of trains and a model city we thought he'd like. Then we took him to Koret park for a short play time. It had been raining but the weather stayed nice for your trip.
I tried to put my sunglasses on myself to help with the glare but they were appropriated by someone. He is funny. He sat there with them on looking cool for five minutes. I guess the world looks different through them.
My little Easter Lily. So cute.
One of the rooms had miniature San Francisco landmark buildings made of reclaimed materials and three model trains running around the buildings and plants used to landscape. It was very cool and Ansel enjoyed the trains.
Here is a close-up of the "Ferry Building". The artist used spoons, a cheese grater, corks and a salt shaker as building materials.
Grandma and Granddad are more daring than I with the height of Ansel's swinging. I thought this pic was so funny with his legs up in the air.
