Ansel likes books. Mostly he likes to eat them but he likes to be read to as well. He gets excited and smiley if I make funny voices while reading. He is sitting up so well now that he can sit and play for long periods of time.
I had the flu last week and had to take two days off work. Luckily my parents still took Ansel for me (as if it were a normal work day)so that I could sleep and recoup. My body ached so much that it was difficult to pick up Ansel. I continued to breast feed Ansel so he'd get my antibodies. It was difficult to care for him and myself. He must have known that it was mellow time because he took longer naps and put up with me sitting around.

I know what you mean, Icould barely lift rowan yesterday, i thought i may get dizzy and drop him. today was better though. i'm glad ansel took it easy on you. i think they do understand somehow, but rowan was worse once he knew i was feeling better! what a stinker!
