Ansel is officially 7 months old now. He is sitting up strong and can transfer items from one hand to another. He can hold something with one hand while hitting it with the other. He is experimenting with his voice and mouth shapes more. A lot of "mamama", blowing sounds, and "b" sounds. He has been very cuddle-y and is hugging and reaching for mom or dad. He has his first cold. The weather has been very cold and dry, which turned to cold and wet rain. He had a phlegmy cough and sniffles although no runny nose.
We had a lovely Christmas. Ansel's Grandma Liz, Uncle Jared and Aunt Molly came out. It was great to have both families for Ansel's first Christmas. He got lots of gifts and was pretty clueless about it being a special day.

The weather was great around Christmas time. We went for a hike in Tilden Park to try out the new hiking pack Uncle Jared and Aunt Molly gave us. It is awesome. Ansel likes it.
