My Little Pumpkin
This video was a lot longer but I edited out most of the parts where the book was blocking his face. Duh. Hope iti s not too choppy.
Ansel amazes me. He makes the best facial expressions. His face relays so much information. He has just begun to really pay attention to books and he looks at me more when I talk. We have conversations. I like hanging out with him.
This morning Jeremy left early for an ultimate frisbee tournament and Ansel and I stayed in bed. It was cold out and Ansel let me lie there until 8 a.m. The heater came on and it was soooo cozy in bed with him. He woke up smiley and happy.

I LOVE IT! He does have a lot of expression for only 4 months. Some 4 monthers are total blobs still. He's got personality. His vocalizations and movements are similar to Rowan's (and I guess probably most babies, but I'd like to think ours are just special!)
Does he try to eat the books? Jack is only just now excited about books. he tries to eat them and grab the pictures. it's so cute. I love reading and have a long list of books i can't wait to read to him!
little house, tom sawyer, walt witman.. the list is huge.
ansel looks like he he getting really good at sitting up in that exersaucer thingy.
