New Year's Day Family Hike at Sibley. It was VERY cold. Kids finding their way out of the maze. Ansel found the mud puddles. Beautiful day at the Lawrence Hall of Science Ansel made a motorized Lego car and ran it on the ramps. Amalia chose to build a tower. Grandma came to visit in January. We went to the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito. Ansel being a good big brother at the playground. A lovely crisp winter day at Lake Temescal. We walked (ran) around the lake, checking out what fishermen had caught. We stopped to play at the playground. Kids playing movie theater with a blanket and the iPad. Pink Dora Paulette, Ansel and I went for a meander at Point Pinole. The views of Mount Tamalpais were lovely. Ansel loved playing at low tide and finding treasures. One night, when the kids were supposed to be asleep, Ansel was playing around under his covers. I think the game was ghost. He slammed down onto his bed with a blanket over his head and landed on the wooden edge around his bed. Lots of blood and swelling. He wouldn't let me ice so the swelling took a couple of days to go down and even longer for the bruise to go away.
