I feel that I have been coping with being home alone with both kids pretty well. But, there are moments when I feel like I am in a three ring circus (as my friend Deena calls it). Both kids crying or wanting my attention at the same time. Amalia trying to sleep while Ansel is yelling and me trying to quiet him. Both kids wanting to eat at the same time. Trying to get both kids bathed and in bed at a decent hour.
In this video things are relatively mellow but they are both talking at the same time. I find that the squeaky wheel gets the grease, although I do my best to give them equal attention. I think three years is turning out to be a good age difference because Ansel can, if he chooses, entertain himself for a little time. I am hoping having two kids is just going to get easier as they get older.
