I had two weeks off of work over Christmas and New Year. I loved having the time with Ansel. We got into a nice routine in the mornings, playing and hanging out. He developed some new skills during this time. He started to play with his tongue. He has the cutest tongue. While sitting up, he can reach over for something without falling. He has a more pronounced will. If we take away something that he was playing with he gets upset. He will also, now, refuse certain foods if he is not in the mood for them.
It is really cool to see him change.
Ansel has a more varied diet now. He has eaten bananas, pears, apple sauce, carrots, peas, sweet potatoes, winter squash, oatmeal and rice cereal.
The past three nights he has only woken up once (down from 2 times). Maybe this is the start of a new trend. Of course every time I say that he reverts back to old ways.

The changes keep coming, I just keep thinking how awesome it is. The will of Rowan is getting very pronounced. He throws himself backwards now!
That is nice he doesn't wake up much at night. Rowan slept for a 5 hour stretch last night and he hasn't done anywhere close to that in weeks. we were really in a bad pattern, but am hoping we are getting it back together. I am trying something slightly different, and it seems to help. Fingers are crossed...for you and me!
